This is the story of JJ Johnson. It does not start in Silicon Valley. It does not start with venture capital or a prestigious university or a network of investors. It starts in Florida, in a car, with a man who refused to stop.
2013 — Starting from nothing
JJ Johnson started his first business in 2013 with nothing. No inheritance. No investors. No connections. He built service based businesses from the ground up, scaled them, and sold them for profit. On top of running daily operations he bought and flipped cars, trucks, and boats — anything he could make money on. Nine years of building real things in the real world. Not an app. Not a platform. Actual businesses that required showing up, working, and delivering.
He was not a tech founder. He was an entrepreneur who figured out how to make money starting from zero and kept doing it.
2019 — Homeless and fighting to be a father
In 2019 everything changed. A divorce. An ex-wife withholding his son. A custody battle that cost him everything he had built.
Johnson went homeless. He sent his daughter — who he had raised since she was in diapers — somewhere safe with someone he trusted while he fought in court to be a father to his son.
He lived in his car. He worked odd jobs to survive. And in whatever time was left he taught himself to code.
Not in a bootcamp. Not in a classroom. In a car. Between odd jobs. Fighting for his son.
He rebuilt everything he lost. He won.
2022 — NewsOnScale
Johnson started NewsOnScale in 2022. He was stepping back from full time business operations to care for his disabled elderly mother while raising his children. He needed something he could build and run without leaving home.
He built a news platform. He grew it to 74,000 followers. He did it without a staff, without investors, and without the distribution advantages that established media companies take for granted.
August 2025 — The ban
Meta banned JJ Johnson in August 2025 on a false accusation of posting child sexual abuse material while he was exploring a run for Florida governor. No evidence was produced. No charges were ever filed. The accusation was false.
The ban destroyed his platform reach overnight. 74,000 followers. Gone. The independent media company he had spent years building collapsed in a single enforcement action by a platform that would later be ordered to pay $25 billion by a New Mexico jury for systematically deceiving its own users.
Meta accused an innocent man of the crime a New Mexico jury just found Meta's own platform was enabling.
January 2026 — One laptop
Johnson started AMILLI AI Corp in January 2025. After the Meta ban he finished 2025 building nothing — processing the destruction of everything he had built on the platform that falsely accused him.
In January 2026 he bought a laptop.
That is the entire origin story of what came next. One laptop. One man. A farm in Dixie County, Florida. Population 17,000.
In seven months he built fourteen deployed software products.
AMilliPay — agent to agent payment infrastructure. PumpAMilli — a Solana meme coin launchpad with creator revenue sharing. Skrrl — an independent social platform. NewsOnScale — rebuilt and relaunched as an independent news platform with a live AI fact checker. And eleven more deployed products across finance, media, payments, and civic technology.
Fourteen products in seven months. No team. No salary. No investors. No marketing budget. On a farm in Dixie County with a laptop he bought in January.
July 4, 2026 — Presidential candidate
On July 4, 2026 JJ Johnson filed his FEC presidential declaration. JJJOHNSON2028.
Nineteen days later X Corp suspended his first campaign account for inauthentic behavior. His second campaign account was fed adult pornography by X's algorithm. His third campaign account has been under documented two-layer suppression since shortly after creation — content that X's own system acknowledges receiving but renders invisible to other users.
Twenty one banks refused to open his campaign account. His platform across eight social media channels has been documented as suppressed through controlled tests with timestamps and evidence.
He is representing himself in federal civil litigation — Case No. 1:26-cv-00197-RH-HTC in the Northern District of Florida — naming Meta, X Corp, SpaceX, TikTok, and Oracle as defendants.
He has not paid himself a salary. He has not taken outside investment. He has not stopped building.
What this story is about
This is not a story about technology. It is a story about what happens when someone who has already survived the worst things life can do — homelessness, a custody battle, a false accusation, platform destruction — decides that none of it is enough to make them stop.
The people running the suppression operation against JJ Johnson built a system designed to break founders who have never been tested. Platform bans. Financial isolation. False accusations. Social pressure. It works on people whose identity and livelihood depend entirely on the platforms doing the suppressing.
It does not work on someone who taught himself to code from a car while working odd jobs to survive a custody battle.
The most powerful technology companies in the world are defendants in a federal lawsuit filed by a man on a farm in Dixie County Florida with a laptop he bought in January.
He built fourteen products in seven months.
He is running for president.
He has not stopped.
NewsOnScale is owned by AMILLI AI, Corp., founded by JJ Johnson. JJ Johnson is a declared 2028 presidential candidate. FEC filing: JJJOHNSON2028.
