On September 18 2026 JJ Johnson — a declared candidate for President of the United States in the 2028 election cycle — posted two pieces of content to his Facebook account within minutes of each other.
The first post contained the phrase Jesus Christ is KING. It published immediately.
The second post contained political commentary about the Trump administration and included a link to jjjohnson2028.com — Johnson's presidential campaign website. It spun for nine minutes before publishing — and only after Johnson manually refreshed his screen.
Same account. Same time. One variable. The campaign domain.
What Happened on September 18
At approximately 3:00 PM on September 18 2026 Johnson submitted a post to Facebook containing political commentary critical of the Trump administration, a reference to Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, and a call to visit jjjohnson2028.com.
The post displayed a spinning wheel indicating it was still processing while simultaneously showing a posted timestamp — the same contradictory dual state documented the previous day. Johnson documented the spinning state through screenshots taken at the 4 minute, 5 minute, 7 minute, 8 minute, and 9 minute marks.
During the same period Johnson posted Jesus Christ is KING to the same account. That post published immediately with no delay.
At the 9 minute mark Johnson manually refreshed his screen. The campaign domain post then appeared as published.
What Happened on September 17
The September 18 incident follows a documented 18 minute throttling incident on September 17 2026.
On September 17 Johnson submitted a post containing commentary about the Charlie Kirk campus shooting, coverage of the UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission's finding that the United States committed war crimes in Iran, and a call to join his presidential campaign with his contact information.
That post spun for 18 minutes before publishing — and only after Johnson flipped and refreshed his screen. Meta's system backdated the post's published timestamp to the original submission time. Screenshots document the spinning state from the 1 minute mark through the 18 minute mark.
The Pattern
Johnson filed Case No. 1:26-cv-00197-RH-HTC against Meta Platforms Inc. and seven other defendants on August 28 2026.
Meta restored normal service to Johnson's accounts on September 1 2026 — after Johnson publicly documented post-filing throttling on August 29-31.
The throttling resumed on September 17 — 16 days after restoration.
The September 18 incident adds a specific data point the September 17 incident did not provide: a direct comparison between a neutral post and a campaign domain post submitted within minutes of each other from the same account. The neutral post published immediately. The campaign domain post took nine minutes and required a manual refresh.
