Think of it as Waze for law enforcement.
CopsMap.com is a free, real-time map that shows where law enforcement has been sighted — reported by the public, refreshed every 30 seconds, with sightings expiring after two hours. No account required to report. No subscription. No paywall.
Users can filter sightings by agency type: Local PD, Sheriff, State Police, Federal, and Unmarked vehicles. Each category is color-coded on the map. Reports come in from anyone who spots law enforcement in the field and wants to share that information with their community.
The product was built and launched by JJ Johnson, founder of AMILLI AI, Corp., approximately two months ago.
The concept is straightforward: citizens have always shared information about police presence informally, through word of mouth, CB radio, and more recently apps like Waze. CopsMap formalizes that community reporting into a dedicated, real-time platform with no barriers to entry. No account. No login. Just open the map and report or view what others have reported.
The two-hour expiration window keeps the data current. A sighting from this morning is no longer relevant by the afternoon. The 30-second refresh means the map reflects what's actually happening now, not what happened hours ago.
CopsMap is live at copsmap.com.
