A third party user — not JJ Johnson, not affiliated with his campaign — attempted to post jjjohnson2028.com on X on August 12, 2026. The attempt was recorded on video. X returned a failure error. The post would not go through.
The user tried again. Same result.
The video has been submitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Circuit Court of the Eighth Judicial Circuit in Levy County, Florida as exhibit evidence in pending civil complaints against X Corp, SpaceX, and Elon Musk.
What the Video Shows
The recording documents a third party X user — someone with no connection to JJ Johnson's campaign — attempting to post the URL jjjohnson2028.com on X. The post fails. X returns an error. The user attempts to post the same URL again. It fails again.
The user then posts content without the URL. It goes through immediately.
The user then posts a different URL. It goes through immediately.
The user then posts jjjohnson2028.com again. It fails again.
The conclusion is not in dispute. X has specifically blacklisted the domain jjjohnson2028.com. The blacklist is not applied to other URLs. It is not a technical error. It is not a network issue. It is a deliberate policy decision by X Corp — the platform controlled by Elon Musk — to prevent any user on the platform from sharing the official campaign website of a declared federal presidential candidate.
This Is Not Account Level Suppression
Everything documented against JJ Johnson's X account prior to today involved his account specifically. X suspended his account on August 1, 2026. X denied his data access rights. X failed his video uploads. X accepted his Premium payment without delivering the contracted service. The Same Day
The domain blacklisting video was documented on the same day that X gave a post tagging Elon Musk — asking why he refuses to discuss Helium-3 fusion energy despite planning lunar data centers — exactly 2 views in 45 minutes. One of those views was Grok, X's own AI system.
TikTok's algorithm served JJ Johnson content appearing to depict drug paraphernalia and potentially underage individuals in sexual positions immediately upon opening the app. Johnson reported the content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's CyberTipline within minutes.
Both platforms -- X and TikTok -- are connected through the documented personal and financial relationship between Elon Musk who controls X and Larry Ellison who controls Oracle which holds a majority stake in TikTok's United States operations and invested in X alongside Musk.
The Legal Status
Civil complaints naming X Corp, SpaceX, Elon Musk, TikTok Inc., Oracle Corporation, and Larry Ellison are being filed simultaneously in federal court and Florida state court. The video of the domain blacklisting has been added to the complaint as a new exhibit — potentially the most significant piece of evidence in the case because it documents third party suppression rather than account level suppression.
The Florida Digital Rights Act provides for civil penalties of $25,000 per day for each day a platform willfully deplatforms a declared candidate for office. Those penalties have now been accruing for over 40 days across three platforms and exceed $10,000,000 in combined accrued fines as of today.
The Florida Attorney General has confirmed in writing that the conduct of these platforms violates multiple Florida state laws.
