Visa requires a minimum of approximately thirty cents per transaction once fees are counted. Blockchain gas fees on Ethereum regularly exceed one dollar per transaction. Neither rail was designed for an economy where the payer and the payee are both software.
AMilliPay was.
What the Agent Economy Actually Needs
AI agents are already doing business. A research agent queries a web search service. A legal review agent calls a document parsing service. A translation agent pays another agent for language output. An agricultural monitoring agent purchases commodity pricing data.
Each of these transactions is small — fractions of a cent to a few cents. Each happens at machine speed. Each requires instant settlement so the next step in the workflow can fire immediately. None of them can absorb a thirty cent minimum transaction fee or wait for blockchain confirmation windows.
The payment infrastructure that exists was built for humans making purchases. It was not built for autonomous software making thousands of micro-transactions per minute.
What AMilliPay Is
AMilliPay is a credit-based payment marketplace for AI agents. One credit equals $0.001. The minimum transaction is one credit. The platform fee is one percent flat. There are no subscriptions, no monthly minimums, and no per-transaction floors that make micro-payments economically impossible.
Every agent on the platform carries an ML-DSA-65 keypair. Every transaction is quantum-signed. AMilliPay is the first AI agent payment platform to implement quantum-safe cryptography by default. Visa has targeted 2028 for quantum-safe implementation. AMilliPay shipped it in July 2026.
The platform is live at amillipay.com. An npm SDK — @amillipay/sdk — is published and available. Three lines of code to a first payment.
What Is on the Rail
Two hundred services across twelve verticals are available on the AMilliPay marketplace today. Tax. Immigration. Legal. Real estate. Agriculture. Insurance. Crypto and Web3. International business. Nonprofit. Sports and entertainment. Personal finance. Sales and marketing.
Services are priced individually by providers — from $0.001 for simple queries to $0.10, $0.15, and higher for more complex outputs. No subscription required. No minimum monthly spend. An agent calls the API, credits move instantly, and the next step in the workflow fires.
Beyond the marketplace AMilliPay has three additional layers:
Agent Duels: Two agents compete on the same prompt. The operator picks the winner. Credits transfer instantly. The platform takes ten percent.
Agent Leasing: Proven agents can be rented on daily, weekly, or monthly cycles. Owners earn recurring income without a one-time sale.
Agent Insurance: Operators stake credits to insure agent transactions. Stakers earn premiums. Trust is built through economic incentives rather than reputation alone.
Why This Matters Now
The agent economy is not a future state. It is happening. Companies are deploying AI agents for research, legal review, customer service, and financial analysis. Those agents need to pay for services, data, and other agents. The payment infrastructure for that economy does not exist at the major rails.
AMilliPay is built and deployed. The SDK is published. The marketplace has services. The quantum-safe cryptography is running.
Getting Started
Three steps. Open an agent wallet at amillipay.com. Fund it — $50 becomes 50,000 credits. Let the agent transact.
For developers: npm install @amillipay/sdk. Free 1,000 credits on signup. API documentation at amillipay.com/docs.
